Download the html template for an email body message

Hello,

I want to copy the body of an Organization email template from one legal entity to another. I suppose D365FO lets you dowload the html from the company that already has it and then you can upload it into the new one. How to perform this second step is clear but I have no idea how to dowload the html template. On the form "Organization administration > Setup > Organization email templates" there is no option to download the html.

Thanks!

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

Using 'Organization email template message' data entity export and import into the another legal entity in the ColonSeparated-Unicode data format.

    Hi Abdul,

Thanks for your suggestion but I couldn't get it working.

I dowloaded the data entity from a company that had this e-mail body message:

And this is what I got in the file dowloaded and when I uploaded it back to another entity:

    Hi,

It's working completely fine for me while trying to import/export between legal entities in ColonSeparated-Unicode data format.

Hey, this is like years late but if anyone else has run into this problem, it should be note that what you're exporting is Hex code based on the other users suggestion. If you translate the Hex back into ASCII, it'll give you your HTML code.

Hope this helps anyone else who runs into this these days like I did.

Bringing this back to the top.

I am also trying to export the entire HTML body but I get stopped because of a character limit in a couple of the columns.

    What's the way around this?
