Swiftpage Act (Sage Act) transfer to Microsoft Dynamics CRM Tasks (How?)

Hi All,

Im relatively new to Microsoft Dynamics CRM having used Sage Act for some time now.

Currently we are migrating across to Dynamics CRM and want to set up a relatively simple process for the user to follow.

Just to give you an idea of the processes undertaken the company is an Insurance Broker that undertakes outbound cold calls to firstly obtain renewal dates and then arrange an appointment for a sales person to attend the clients business premises.

In Sage Act you could perform a Search under your contacts for a particular set bit of criteria and assign a task for a future date/time.

For example you might have 20k prospect names to work with and you might want to target people who you know are due for renewal in the following month.  The search would be based on their "Renewal date" and that might bring back a "Lookup" result of about 200 prospects.

From this you could then add a bulk (Task/Telephone Call) to be made in lets say a weeks time to all 200 prospects.

Then when the user logs into the system on that date he will know how many calls need to be made.

Is this built into Dynamics CRM or can it be customised to make it?

Thanks Daniel
