    Hi,

Could you please share the screenshot of the workflow setup.
    • If your workflow has a rule that auto-approves POs below a certain amount, the changes you make after rejection might be triggering that rule.
    • Check if your workflow settings allow automatic approval for resubmitted POs.
    • your role has the necessary permissions; the system might be skipping the approval steps and auto-approving.

    Hi,

Yes, if your workflow is configured with a condition like “Amount < 500 = Auto-approve”, then any PO under that value will be automatically approved.

So after rejection, if you change the PO amount below 500, the system will bypass approval steps and auto-approve based on the condition.

To change this behavior, review your workflow step conditions and submit step logic.

    Hope this helps,

    Zain

    Hi,

If a PO is being auto-approved after a rejection and resubmission, it's likely due to the workflow conditions or configuration.

    Some steps/things to check:
    1. Change management setup – Is it enabled properly for POs?
    2. Workflow condition logic – Are there conditions that bypass approval for specific users, amounts, or changes?
    3. Resubmission settings – Is the workflow configured to auto-approve if changes after rejection don't meet certain thresholds?
    4. Workflow versioning – Are multiple versions active or conflicting?

Here are some ques. regarding the workflow:
    -  What conditions are defined in your workflow approval step?
    -  Is there any user or threshold-based auto-approval setting?
    -  Are you using a custom workflow or the standard template?

    Thanks,
    Raj D Borad
