We have configured CRM 2011(RU8) outlook(2010) client plugin in our machine which is working fine when we connected with LAN. But the same is not working if we connected with VPN connection. Its keep showing 'CRM trying to connect'. But still I am able access CRM form web browser. Can any one help me to fix this issue?

I am having the same issue vpn works can connect to http port to the server . but outlook stated server is not available .

For this, as we know is a network issue, we can use Fiddler tool (www.telerik.com/.../fiddler) to validate what happen with the packages that you are sending and receiving when you tried to access to CRM using CRM for Outlook through VPN.
Then, you can compere this info with the trace when you not have the problem.
