    Hi,

Yes, this can be used with Business Central. You need to create a new Currency Exchange service, provide service URL and then give the field mapping. Here you can also give some transformation rules if you need to.

    Happy Holidays,

Yes I have connected with OANDA and FloatRate.com. I used FloatRate because it was free. After you click on Exchange Rate Service/Exchange Rate Services you will need to create a NEW service and fill in the URL and Field Mapping. Below is an example:

If you want the inverse rate, set the line as follows:

    Hope this helps.

Hi, If you were able to connect to Oanda, can you please tell how did authorize (use the API Key to connect to Oanda APIs)?

I have tried putting the API Key in the Service URL and that works, but I don't prefer sending API Keys in URL. Rather I want to send it as an Authorization key in Header.

    Thanks

    Krati21,

Yes, I just applied the API in the URL and it worked. You can also have the Partner create the formal API extension to employ in the exchange service.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve

    Thanks for the reply Steve,

I preferred not to send the API Key in the URL. So I rather created an extension which will send the API Key in the Request Header.

    Hi Larc,

I used the following field mapping with OANDA.

Additionally, could any one share how to make the API key part of the header? I am not familiar with development in BC.

    Thanks,
    Asfand Yar
