Dynamics GP - Payroll - Change pay frequency in middle of year

My client wants to change the pay frequency in November. Besides having to create new pay codes and throwing off the pay code summary information off, does any one see a downside to this?

because that would just be too simple. Never had the request so I never knew you could just change the frequency. Thought it would be like the pay type, but this makes things much easier.

Why are you creating new pay codes? Can't you just open your pay codes and change the frequency?
