MR 2012 Changing fiscal period

I have a client that has 5 companies and one of the companies was setup with a fiscal period of 10/01-09/30 and all the others were calendar years. They now want to change that company to calendar as well. They do run consolidated financial statements using MR 2012. Will there be anything additional I will need to do in MR 2012 to accommodate this change?

Due to changing the periods/years, I would recommend upgrading to CU8. With the CU8 release, MR no longer calculates the periods/years based on your first year but rather reads them directly from GP. Upgrading should ensure that your changes flow through.

As far as the order, I would recommend the following:

-Back up the databases

-Change GP

-Upgrade MR to CU8 and re-create the data mart database

What steps are you taking to change the company over to a calendar year and are you using the data mart or legacy provider with MR?
