Change default Site ID depending on type of sales order entry

We would like to add logic to the order entry process (SL 2011) so that if a return type sales order, RFC, is created then the default side ID is XX but in other cases the default site ID is YY.

Is this possible ?

    As far as I know, it is only possible with VBA customization, which I have done for several sites and various reasons.
