Email notification Conversation Tabs

Hi ,

I'm new at Dynamic 365 ,and I have a task to do but no ideas how to do this. I created Workflows for "Case" field and is working good ,but I want to send email when someone puts something in "Conversation Tabs".

Is there a way to do this?

    Hi Marinel,

    As also suggested above, the social pane contains different entities, you need to run your workflow on create of those entities.

    Start by registering it on Activities >> Phone Call  and verify. Once it is working for Phone call, you can create different similar workflows for other entities as well such as Posts, Email, Task, etc.

    I would suggest you to first work out what entity record is created when you add something in Social Pane, this will give you an idea of what entity to register.

    Hi,

    Response on conversation tabs can have many forms. emails, actual comments, tasks etc.

    There are all activities. All of the these activities derive from a "base" activity an you may be able to attach a workflow to the respective activity and do what you need to do.

    You can send email using the workflow. Check the below thread-

    Could you share some more details/ screenshot about "Conversation Tabs", there is no such OOB feature. If you are reerring to social pane then there are stored in different entities, like posts, notes, emails, tasks, etc. You need to workout when do you need to trigger this workflow.
