Hi all
can someone tell me when a record is saved that is accessed via a workflow
is the record saved when the workflow has completed all steps/stages
or
is the record saved after each individual stage or step is completed
I have a main workflow that calls child workflows
I am just wondering when a save occurs on a record that is accessed by a workflow

Hi Lucky Lifestyler Designer,
when you deal with cascade workflow dependencies you need to use synchronous workflow, to avoid all problems caused by asynchronous operations.
If any async workflow is involved, you may not be sure all saves apply sequentially.

Hi,
afaik, the save occurs on any update step. If it's a back-ground workflow, all its steps will run AFTER the main "save". If it's a real-time workflow, it depends on whether the worfklow has been configured to run before or after the update.
