Export RMS Generated barcode for printing?

Hi, im looking to generate several RMS barcodes and export them to a desktop file, no real preference so long as i can insert that barcode into a word document to be used on  voucher for a mail out so i can then use the barcodes on vouchers to be delivered through a mail drop.

We are currently doing this without the barcode, but rather inserting the code into RMS each time a voucher is presented.

Having the ability to add a barcode to the voucher ( designed externally) will streamline the process and save us a fair bit of time, it will also allow us to use different barcodes for different suburbs thus tracking where our vouchers are receiving the most welcome attention.

I can create the barcode and also the RMS discount without a problem its just the exporting  i cant seem to figure out

 Is this possible at all?

Thankyou in advance.

Re: Microsoft RMS Printing Mailing Customer Rewards Vouchers

The printing a label to PDF is a nice idea.  Understand that a Barcode is just a Font.  So when you see the barcode in RMS, it is not that that you are trying to export, it is the characters that that the Barcode Font represents.  Thus, if you are looking to really automate the process of mailing rewards / discount vouchers to customers, the other idea about using a 3 of 9 or other barcode font in the Word document is a good approach.  Microsoft Word is also capable of mail merging the address list you are mailing to. So on one piece of paper you can have the mailing address, voucher number (set as a barcode font 3 of 9 or other barcode font), and using mail merge, print thousands at at time for stuffing in a windowed envelope or postcard or whatever.

We have solved this problem by defining a label in RMS with the barcode how we want it, then printing to a PDF writer to save to a file.

Look for a font called 3 of 9 or free 3 of 9 google it you should be able to find it for free. Then you can install the font into word and Highlight your code change font to 3 0f 9 and you will have a barcode no need for RMS. Its simple..Good luck
