Move CRM Sql database to a new SQL server

Hi,

We would like to move our Crm sql database to anew sql server. As I am completely new to this, any step by step guide and links to move the database to a new sql server will be highly appreciated.

    Hi James,

    Check out the details here: community.dynamics.com/.../120859

    You want to install CRM on the new server, then you can move the database from one server to the other, import it through the CRM Deployment Manager and you'll be good to go.

    Hi,

    Main steps to move database from one sql server to another..

    1. You need to take backup of your existing database.

    2. Restore database to new sql server

    3. Open deployment manger

    4. Import organization for newly restored database
