What permissions / roles / license do I need to provide to an External Data Analyst to pull data from Business Central into Power BI

Hi there,

I'm just wondering what permissions / roles / license do I need to provide to an external Data Analyst to pull data from our Business Central environment into Power BI?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi, With Business Central, users get a free Power BI license that provides access to the most common features in Business Central and Power BI.

As for user permissions, it is similar to the management in BC. Generally, only read access to the table is required.
