Duplicate deposit showing in checkbook for reconcilation

Duplicate deposit showing in checkbook register only for reconciliation. Did not hit GL. We had issues with server that day and I believe that is what caused duplicate posting. What tables would our IT dept look at?

    Hi,

In order to research deposit amounts in the checkbook register, I would look in the following tables.

    CM20200 - Checkbook Transactions. WHERE  (CMTrxType = 1)

CM20201 - Transactions Totals - this is information for posted deposits

CM20300 - Receipts. This doesn't reflect a deposit, but it will show you if the receipt was duplicated. It also indicates whether the receipt has been deposited.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie

    Hi Georgia,

I apologise as I'm on my mobile at the moment so I can't have an in depth look at this for you at the moment, however your IT department could use something like the script defined in the following link:

    [View:http://hanssens.com/code/search-entire-sql-server-database-and-all-tables-for-a-specified-string/]

They could use this and search for the deposit reference which may aid in finding the tables you require.

    Apologies for brevity

    Kind Regards,

    Jamie
