We have just upgraded from SL 6.5 to SL 2011. All is working fine on the server. The environment we are running in both the application server and database server are 2008 R2, both are in an offsite hosted virtual environment. I have upgraded on the server, both the db and app server and SL runs fine on the app server. However, I installed it on my local machine in the office and after I select the Server and Sys database and click OK it gives me this:
System Message 10202
The application fetch buffer size is less than the cursor select statement requires.
Function: BindColumns(81)
Level: NOLEVEL
Tables(s):
SQL: GetInfo 'U', 'SYSADMIN'
Then after you click OK to this message another one comes up and says:
System Message 9826
The System Database SL_SYSDB has not been updated to the latest version of Microsoft Dynamics SL. Please run the update scenario in Database Maintenace.
Now the syste has been upgraded already very throroughly. It runs great from the server, just won't on a client machine. I have started over with the upgrade process twice. I have also tried logging on as an administrator on the local machine and a normal user. I have also tried installing on a new freshly installed Win 7 machine as well.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Thank you in advance!
Samantha

I have the same question (0)Perhaps the client on the workstation has not be updated to the same version of SL as the server. There are also hotfixes that need to be applied to the workstation for the client as well as the server client.
