BC-CRM Integration > Is it possible to synchronise new products created in CRM Sales to BC?

I'm busy testing the Dynamics 365 Sales and Dataverse integration with Business Central for the first time. 
 
I have a use case where new products are created in D365 Sales and should be sync'd to BC. When I run the sync, it fails because the product's Primary Unit in D365 Sales is not coupled. 
 
Can someone provide the setup steps for the following example:
 
A new product with its default unit is created in D365 Sales. Both the product and default unit do not exist in BC. I would like the integration to create these records in BC. Otherwise please provide a workaround.

    First, you have to sync unit (I believe you mean Unit of Measure) and then sync Item (Product).

    Never done it. We usually recommend BC as the main/first source for Item because I believe BC has more setup to be done.
    I would imagine it to be quite hard to do it from CRM because you need to sync both the Product and Unit, which can cause validation issues on BC.
