Hi,

Could someone help me to explain what is the function of work exception code? There are 3 types, work, receiving, and short pick.

I test create a work exception code type receiving, but I don't know what is the function because if I click exception on purchase receiving from mobile device menu, it shows exception code, then if I click "Done", nothing has changed.

Also, please someone help me give example the use of work exception code for exception type work.

All exception codes will when applied add a record into the table WHSWorkExceptionLog

From the rich client you can access the information from warehouse management > Inquiries > History > Work exception code.

You are correct about the receiving exception code. All it does is to add a record into this table. The receiving flow will not change.

The short pick work exception code is used, when the user is reported a short pick on the mobile device. Besides the recording of this in the WHSWorkExceptionLog it also drives some business logic. Example create counting work for this location.
