Can anyone tell me if Microsoft has included functionality to allow two sales orders to be opened simultaneously in any version greater than GP 2013 R2 build 1894? Or if there is a way to program it to do so? Thanks for any input.

I have used it, but I have not been able to use it recently - it keeps telling me that I have not filled in a required field.
I logged it as a support request and asked them to load it and they did for me (no charge obviously).
Thank you Kirk and Heather, we suspected as much but I thought I'd throw it out there in case there was some functionality or customization option I was missing. We are working with the client to get to the bottom of why it is so important, apparently Sage can do that and they couldn't possibly live without it. We will see. Tried unsuccessfully to use Microsoft Connect to enter the suggestion, have you every used that, just kept getting booted out.
Agree with Kirk - you can't without duplicating the log in. If you can let us know why you want to open two at the same time, we might be able to provide some ideas of a way to get around what you are wanting to do.
Hi Nancy,
I don't believe there is anyway to open two sales orders simultaneously without occupying two seats and using two GP users. If you need to reference one transaction to enter the other the inquiry window might suffice for the reference transaction.
Regards,
Kirk
