We have a contract entity under which we have sub contract sub grid, and we want to update a status of all the sub contract records once the main contract is approved.
I created a workflow for this and every time I have to run the workflow manually on sub contract entity to take the changes.
Is there anyway that I can update those sub contract record status without having to run the workflow manually?

Thank you so much for the response, this helped me clear my confusion.
If you already have your WF & running manually achieving your need, just the trigger is missing then do this.
Deactivate the WF & select the “Record status change” as trigger. Make sure you check the condition like current status is Approved before taking action. This will work if it’s OoB status.
If your status is custom field then choose “Record field change” & pick your attribute. Again check the current value for Approved.
