We would like to add the Details description field from the header to the notification email for approval. We could not find the right field from the placeholder selection on the workflow editor.

Is there any way we can add the Details field on the workflow notification?

You can make use of the Email template functionality in D365 which will help your scenario.

Hi,

After updating the workflow, make sure you saved and have the updated version activated. Also, you would have to submit a new document to workflow for this change to reflect.

In addition, does the details field have data?

if you have done the above and you are still unable to get the notification? Please share a screenshot of the setup.

Hello everyone,

I've been facing the same issue, the Details field won't show up on the Workflow Editor.

The %Purchase requisitions.Purchase requisition lines.BusinessJustification% refers to the Reason field (above the wanted field).

What I wanted to use is the Details field, I keep searching the placeholders but no results. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
