Transaction dimensions for U.S. Payroll is enabled when AA is not installed

i have a client who is on GP2015 R2 latest service pack.  They are now getting a message that  

"Transaction dimensions for U.S. Payroll is enabled in the AA options Window.  You must Mark the Post in Detail option before saving the information."  

 When viewing the Posting Setup screen.   AA is not even installed.  It is checked in the Registration screen but not installed.    Why is this happening??
