i am working on customizing the phone call form, i clone an existing one and just rearrange the fields in the screen.
i am using it fin and use to be able to convert any call to case or opportunity from the convert to menu after saving the phone call.
lately the convert to menu is showing (No actions available), i try to reverse all action i think about, but it is still not showing, what could went wrong to make it disappear, and how i can bring it back?

I have opened a ticket with Microsoft throw my company provider, in 18 Dec.
Microsoft created a new support instance in my environment online, and still checking.
There feed back as follows so far:-
- nothing is wrong with the ribbon.
- This seems to be related with a known issue in Dynamics 365 product.
- An internal investigation already was opened, and they are looking for the next steps that could be applied in order to find a possible solution.
I will let you know once i have additional information.
If anyone find a solution please let us know... Thanks all...
Hi Majed ,
at this point it seems a bug.
Please open a ticket to Microsoft and let us know what is the cause.
Thanks
Francesco

i am also encountering this problem. I was able to convert an email to lead before, I itried it again the next day and the convert to is has displayed no actions available
Thank you all,
actually i try to export the Phone call in a solution and get the (customizations.xml) where i found this code inside it
<RibbonDiffXml>
<CustomActions />
<Templates>
<RibbonTemplates Id="Mscrm.Templates"></RibbonTemplates>
</Templates>
<CommandDefinitions />
<RuleDefinitions>
<TabDisplayRules />
<DisplayRules />
<EnableRules />
</RuleDefinitions>
<LocLabels />
</RibbonDiffXml>
i delete everything inside the <RibbonDiffXml> and install it as a solution back, ... but noting change.
<RibbonDiffXml>
</RibbonDiffXml>
As you see the only thing is there is the <RibbonTemplates> and the Mscrm.Templates ID.
i believe the problem is in the code behind the id = "Mscrm.Templates", i believe it is the default to be taken, so weather i keep it or delete it from the (customizations.xml) file. it will be taken...!!??
anyone have an idea what to do or at least to reach the code of the Mscrm.Templates, or even cancel the template completely and put instead a customized code directly in the tag <CustomActions> in (customizations.xml) file.
so i can get back the convert to option as (convert the phone call to opportunity) which i am concern about ...
Hi Majed,
Very possibly a MS bug in the Dynamics v9 release.
You can try as others suggested to backup the customizations of the phone call entity and import then to your environment.
If you are able, I would open a support ticket with MS, to make them aware of the issue as well, so that it can be fixed for others, or also post it on ideas.dynamics.com as a bug.
Thank you. Hope this helps.
We saw this the other day in a new Trial, in that trial it had all of the 'modules' installed Field Service, Project Sevice, Sales, Marketing etc..., ran up a new Trial without any customisations. No customisations version the options were present in the menu, trial with the additional modules "no actions available" - obviously some customisation that has removed the options.
I don't have a solution, other than editing the ribbon to get them back etc as others have suggested.
Export phone Call Entity and compare with default ribbon button . I think something change in ribbon convert to button.
Dear Francesco,
still the phone call (convert to) menu showing nothing... No action available...
Hi Majed,
if you want to revert customization over an entity ribbon, proceed as follows:
1) create a solution
2) add entity to solution, selection only metadata (no view, fields or other items)
3) unzip solution
4) open customizations.xml
5) find RIbbonDiffXml tag
6) cancel all content
7) zip back the solution
8) upload and publish the solution
Please let me know if you solve.
