When I log into GP with the SA account I get some errors and then it lets me go in.

Just so everyone knows this was a problem with Bluemoon Freight Matrix Recalculation that Larry and I were able to determine.
While it highly unusual it is possible to create another ID in SQL, then grant that new I'd the sysadmin role, then restrict the sa SQL user account. I would suggest that you get with your DBA, if you have one an see if they have done something of this nature.
Let me know if this helps or not and we can go from there to get this problem solved.
