Records delete on grid

hi all

while delete multi records on a grid(i.e. ledger journal), not selected record will deleted, but selected will not deleted.

does anyone have meet this questions before.

found hotfix at LCS but the version is AX 2012 R2 ,current ax version is ax 2012 R3 CU8.

Can you tell us a bit more? Does it happen in all grids? When did it start happening? It is the same in all environments and for all users? What happens if you have a single row, mark it and try to delete it?

By the way, please separate tags with comma.

hello martin

the General journal grid was commonly used multi delete function, other ware rarely used .

there was no problem while a single row delete.

the environment is production, user found this question.

after test, test and dev environment also have same problems.

for the production environment, china function was enabled.

AX sometimes does not load all lines into memmory when you open a large list or journal, this is normal beheviour. (imagine opening the customer list page when you have 1M customers)

When you make a selection and hit delete, ax will apply your action to those rows. When you really need to cath them all hit CTRL + ALT + END. This will force AX to load all lines in memmory. Now your delete action will work for all lines.

I'm sorry, but your doesn't make clear whether this problem occurs only in "General journal grid" or other forms as well.

If it works with one line, what about two lines? Please do some testing by yourself, so you give us more precise information about when it happened and when it doesn't.

I'm sorry for not say clearly.

please see below.

1. 53 general journal have created. on description field sequences number was input，001~053

2.select the first 29 journal to delete

3.after deleted.

selected journals were not delete, still checked,

but other journal between 30 and 53, some have been deleted，031，033，035，035（Seq No on description）

So is it just about this single form or not? If so, have you tried to find out which piece of code does the deletion? Then you should check whether it's standard logic or a customization.

I think this is Ax bug ,because the code was standard,

I will check the code and try to fix it.
