Users are unable to enter Purchase CR/Adj notes after the recent updates

    The error indicates that the user does not have the necessary permissions to perform the action.
    Please check their permissions and ensure that they have the required access to enter Purchase CR/Adj notes.

    Yeah it is possible that after updates, the needed permissions for certain processes are altered and then You need to adjust them in the Permission Sets.
    If You are using the standard system permission sets, those should be altered automatically (but of course it could be that something has skipped Microsoft attention, and it will be fixed in next update, but until then You have to add them manually).

    We did not make any changes to user access. Users were able to enter purchase invoices in the morning but then they were unable to do so later in the afternoon and this error started coming up.
     
    Table 5508 is a new table which was added as part of this recent update and caused this issue. We manually added table 5508 to our permission set and users are now able to post purchase invoices.
