Hi All,

I am new on this forum and I hope to find someone who can help me find the right way to solve my issue.

During the stabdard procedure to integrate Business Central with Dynamics 3765 for Sales I receive an error saying that the admin account used to complete the procedure is invalid.

I was not able to find any other information in order to solve the issue and I am sure that the admin account has all the needed rights.

Please help.

Many thanks in advance.

Scotz

You need to check if the used accounts can access the two systems.

Please recheck the roles of user who is executing integration task:

These tasks require the System Administrator security role in Dynamics 365 Sales and Business Central.

Assign licenses for Dynamics 365 Sales to the Business Central users who will use the integrated apps.

This account must also be a valid user in Dynamics 365 Sales with the following security roles:

    System Administrator

    Solution Customizer

In Business Central : Integration Administrator - Allows users to manage the connection between Business Central and Dynamics 365 Sales.

Thanks Stefano, but both users (integration and admin) have the right permissions.

Thanks Asif, but both users (integration and admin) have the right permissions and are valid in Dynamics 365 and Business Central.

After a lot of tentatives the issue has been solved ...

The problem was the MFA enabled on the admin user.

The wizard do not manage the MFA approval and popup an invalid user error.

Finally I created an "App Password" for the admin user and I used it as password in the wizard.

The procedure completed successfully and I can now couple records between the two systems.

Many thanks to Stefano and Asif for the answers, I hope this post will help other people!
