How to block users from editing transaction in the General Journal Batch which has sent for Workflow Approval

Workflow approval has been setup for General Journal Batch Approval with multiple level approval, the workflow is working fine. But the problem is BC still allows users to change the transaction in the batch although the batch is still in the middle of approving process. Is there any setting to block users from editing the batch which has sent for workflow approval?

As standard no. However, it could be achieved. The OOTB template adds a line into the "Restricted Records" table. On open of the relevant journal you could check whether your batch sits in there. If it does that could then disable editing or something similar. This would be a development though.
