Procurement and sourcing "spend Analysis" reports

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi,

I setup a new company account, modified the existing purchase categories, posted some transactions (purchase orders) togehter with the categories and tried to run the spend analysis reports in the procurement and sourcing module. Unfortunately, these reports seem not working properly as they do not pick up my new company accounts that I setup and the transactions that I posted .

Does anybody have a tip for me on what to do?

Thanks,

ludwig

    Hi Ludwig,

I am facing same issue, not able to generate any spend analysis report in procurement module. All showing blank reports with no data.

I changed the category hierarchy type with new hierarchy and assigned new categories to items. I have also done some transaction with new category through purchase order.

Also i have redeploy cubes and process it again and able to browse and see data in SQL.

Could you please assist me if you have some solution.

    Regards

    Udit Dhawan

If this is a newly created legal entity, please make sure to process SSAS cubes at least one. Usually the cubes are scheduled to process automatically, after specific intervals. Otherwise manual processing is required.

    Hi Sohaib,

    Thanks for your revert.

Legal entity is same. I just change category hierarchy type and also process the cubes after that.

Have you tried by executing your MDX query in SSAS Browser?

    Hi Sohaib,

Yes, that we have already tried and is working fine. I have handed over this issue to my technical team they are further debugging.

    Hi,

Have you processed the AX standard cubes? Once they are processed and provided that you have transactions recorded you should be able to see some data.

    Beat regards

    Ludwig
