We've been following all of the import guidelines and used the downloadable templates, but every import fails without showing any progress or error messages. Has anyone experienced a similar issue in the past?
Hi partner,
As I know, the "Submitted" status in import jobs is the first status, it will change to "Transform" -> "Completed" or "Failed".
If this status does not changed, you could also go to System Jobs to find more details.

Hi,
Before importing next file try to delete existing import file where status is submitted.
Also, check system jobs for more details.
You can log support ticket with microsoft to check if async service is stopped.
