Electronic reporting - getting a "MappingToDestination" error when generating the report

I have a custom sales order invoice format created through the GER workspace. When I try to print an invoice, I get messages saying that the @ElectronicReporting:MappingToDestinationIsMissing and that there's a print management setup issue. Has anyone run into a similar thing? I'm able to actually generate the record with data from the selected record, but I get these messages (and the print management settings are ignored).

I created a derived model mapping based off of the one from Microsoft, and created a new format "Customer invoice." The derived model has some updated bindings (not sure if this could be causing issues?)

I've also created an electronic reporting destination record for this custom format. I've tried setting the Settings to both File and Screen, but I get the error messages for both.

and have updated the print management settings to point to my new report:

    Hi,

In your print management settings, I can see "customer invoice".

Isn't this the one that was created by MS and that is based on the original model mapping?

What you need to do in addition is create a derivation of this customer invoice configuration and ensure that it is linked to your new D1 model mapping. This seems to be the missing peace.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

(sorry I by accident reported your post as abusive)

    Hello,

I had same issue with payments and got it solved. It has nothing to do with print management and even nothing to do with ER reporting destinations.

Problem is - you have derived or created a new model. You even have a model mapping to model (direction for export). But you don't have created or derived a model mapping for destination (necessary for import), even when you don't use import. Obviously its needed even when its not used.

So my solution was to derive one of the the original model mappings to destination and set status to complete. (the blue one was missing)

Same issue occurs when the original model mappings for destinations were not downloaded from LCS.

    Hope that helps.

    Kind regards

    Hi Evelyn

I am having a hard time in getting rid of this error message at the time of cheque generation. I created a new data model and format based on payment cheque model.

Everything works well from a functional point. However, this error message pops up. Can you explain a bit more how I can create a new model mapping for import (destination) so that this warning/error does not appear.
