Our company is using Dynamics 365 ver 9.0 in UI, cloud based. When sharing a case with others the information is not appearing in the shared parties ''Active cases'' list and the emails are not coming through to advise a case has been shared. Has anyone else experienced this and is able to assist. Security roles for Cases is set to org level. thanks
Hi Sharing the cases does not mean Sharing or transferring the Ownership. Sharing the Cases means other user can see the record
What is the security Role previlages of the User on Case entity to whom the Case is assigned ?
Also what are the Views filter ?
I reckon if you review both i.e. Security Privileges and View Filter then the issue can be resolved.
As mentioned already, the ownership hasn't changed so they won't see it in My Cases. The best bet would be to use a Team and assign the cases to a Team where all members of that Team will be able to see it.
