Automatic Bank Reconciliation

Hello,

I would like to use the automatic bank reconciliation in AX 2012, but when I go to the bank accounts form, I have only access to the "Account reconciliation" functionality (manual functionality). I have not access to the "Bank statement" button (It doesn't appear to the screen).

Which setup do I need to do to be able to use the bank statement functionality ?

Did you place the check mark in the Advanced bank reconciliation field .

Bank account - > Reconciliation FastTab - > select the Advanced bank reconciliation check box.

Thanks Lally,

but I do not have the Bank reconciliation link in the Cash and Bank parameter form. So I can not select the advanced Bank reconciliation check box.

Any idea what setup is missing ?

You must first of all set up the file format you want to import. For this you need to set up a Service / AIF Inbound port, and link it to a bank format resource.

Once your format is set up, you simply import the file received from your bank as a Bank Statement > cash and bank management- common - bank accounts.

Now create a Bank reconciliation journal for this bank account.

Document Number in the statement = Payment Reference in AX

Amount = Amount
