RE: The State field is not showing in newly created company in BC
for anyone currently experiencing this, it is probably not a bug, but rather lack of complete setup. Navigate to the Countries/Regions screen. Locate the country code associated with the Country/Region Code you have entered on your customer or ship-to address. If you don't have any country codes, you should start populating both the table and your customer and ship-to addresses. Same for vendors.
1. Make sure the "State Name" column has a value filled in. For the US, this would be "State" while for Canada it should be "Province" and so on.
2. In the Address Format column, select a format that includes State, for example "City+State+Zip Code".
If you do both of those steps, you should see a field labeled as State, Province, Region or whatever value you set for the country.
