Making Azure MS SQL data available in Dynamics.

I am new to Dynamics.   Is it possible to connect to a Azure SQL server and expose the data into Dynamics as an entity?   I would rather not synchronize the data if possible.   Do you think this is possible? Or what is the best way to solve this issue?   


I will have data that is Azure SQL server I would like to use in Dynamics.

    You can import the data into Dynamics 365 using Microsoft flow.

    So every time a record is added / updated in Azure SQL server, the same is updated in Dynamics 365.

    If you do not want to add records in Dynamics, one option is to do use iFrame and show the SQL data on the custom entity form. This will require custom development

    Hi Jeremy,

    There are several ways to connect your Dynamics and Azure SQL server:

    - First one is to use Microsoft Flow - native Microsoft tool, where you can create automated workflows between Dynamics and Azure SQL  to get notifications, synchronize files, collect data, and more.

    - As an alternative you can use 3rd parties connectors: Devart SSIS (desktop) or Skyvia (web and completely no coding).
