Hi All. We are trying to implement demand forecasting, but for some reason, the demand forecast does not include any product variants and we cannot determine the reason.
All the necessary setup has been done like:
- Item allocation key (we include the product with all it's variants)
- Demand forecasting parameters:
- Only include Sales transactions
- Forecast dimensions: Item number and dimensions, Warehouse
- Azure Machine Learning: Created the experiment and included all the needed setup there.
- Intercompany planning group (we have online company)
Our parameters when running the forecast:
- Historical Horizon: 1/1/2019..11/30/2019
- Forecast start date: 4/1/2019
- Include the intracompany planning group
- Forecast period = 6 Months, with no freeze period
We have some items with no variants, and these do create a forecast, thus only the items (product masters) that does not create any forecast lines. After running the forecast for product variant items, we receive the messages:
"Check that all intercompany planning group members have item allocation keys assigned for demand forecasting"; and
"There are no transactions within the historical horizon"
We have checked that both of the above is in place, but still the forecast is not generated for these.
If anybody have some insights it would be appreciated!
