Interest calculation

Posted on by 130

Good morning!

Have you come across such situation, that AX calculates only negative debts in Interest calculation? I have a Customer with both Invoices and Credit Notes. AX only takes CN's. When marking checkbox Invoice (only), I have below message:

Localization: Poland.

Best regards,

Gosia

I am replying to myself, I think I need to correct setup and instead of Due date change it to calculate interest on the Next business day!

Hm, I though about it, but not sure if this works.

Please check setup -> I have added Payment calendar -> start Interest calculation -> Due date:

In STD I have only added one record (17.04.2017 is Bank Holiday):

I have Invoice, which Due Date is per 17.04.2017 and Closed date 18.04.2017:

AX calculates interest. It is not correct. What do you think?

    Hi nuttka,

Have you tried making use of the payment calendar functionality that you can find in your last screenprint?

    Please also see:

Hello, me again, one more question. Is it possible to add Bank holidays somehow and for those days system won't calculate Interests?

Ludwig, I got it... Instead of Single rate I put there Multiple rate, even though all transactions are in PLN! Now I see Lines for both, Credit Notes and Invoices! Juhu!

All Not disputed... I have even started over and added new Interest code, deleting old one. Still the same. I think it is time to ask Developer for help :<

    Hi nuttka,

Does this invoice have a disputed status?

Can you check that in the collections tab?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

I took better example, with more transactions 3200005. I have also checked report Detailed due day list, all is there. On all open and closed transactions checkbox Interest calculation is marked. Here example from one of the invoice:

Still, only Interest note for CNs:

    How is that possible :/

    Hi,

What's the open balance of this customer? (3200001)?

If you look at the open customer transactions can you check the collections tab?

Is the parameter 'interest calculation' active for all open invoices?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
