Dynamics Gp 2018.5 on SQL 2019

Can anyone steer me on how to get clinets to connect to a SQL 2019 box.  All ODBC connections created through the installer are SNAC, and I am totally stumped on how to make my clients access it through the new OLEDB driver.
 
When I create an OLEDB connection or ODBC connection, they are not available in teh list of options when I launch Dynamics GP
 
Any help would be appreciated!

    Have you allowed the required SQL ports through your firewall?

    I see the 32bit ODBC, but SQL Native Client isnt supported on SQL Server 2019...so I cant even create it for our new SQL server.  I can point it to the old SQL 2104 box no problem, but we want to move to SQL Server 2019, and cant point any clients to that machine.
     
    We cant even create a native client connection to 2019!
     
    I know I am missing something super obvious, but cant figure it out!

    To my knowledge you'll only see ODBC options listed that were created using the SQL Server Native Client 11.0 driver. It must be created as a 32-bit ODBC and not 64-bit (launch odbacad32.exe from c:\windows\syswow64 and not c:\windows\system32).
     
    Are you not even seeing the ODBC created by the installer as an option to use?
