General Journal Entry Integrates without Batch Total

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi Everyone -

I'm having an issue with integrating journal entries. There are no errors with the process itself - the journal entry integrates normally with no problems. However, when looking at the financial batch screen total it shows $0. Any ideas?

    Hi Victoria,

Do you know why it doesn't show the total here or in the Journal Entry window? It doesn't even show it on the edit list. Why is this is the case? How are we supposed to know that the entry is not in balance? What is the work around?

We are having the same issue.  Just curious were you able to find an acceptable work around?

By the name of your batch, I am guessing you might be importing intercompany transactions? If so, those always show up this way - with no batch total. You can enter a transaction manually into a new batch to confirm this.

What tool are you using for the import? Do you create the batch before the import?

    Kind regards,

    Leslie
