I have setup rms offline database on the same machine as pos, now when i disable the network.
POS connects to the offline database but takes too much time around 4-5 minutes.
is there any setting we could make to make connection to offline database faster.
If RMS has been installed look at the help file and setup an offline database on each register so if production server goes offline the POS will still run uninterrupted and then after server comes back up and you log-out and login to POS then it will sync those offline transactions back to the production server
