What is /main.aspx?pagetype=control... ?

Hi,

When I edit the sitemap of D365 Sales Hub, I notice that the URL of [Sales Accelerator] is /main.aspx?pagetype=control&controlName=MscrmControls.AcceleratedSales.AnchorShellControl.

According to the Microsoft document (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customerengagement/on-premises/developer/open-forms-vie...), pagetype only has 2 values(entityrecord or entitylist), of course I can guess the value [control] means microsoft control and the control name is MscrmControls.AcceleratedSales.AnchorShellControl, but could I edit the control or create a customized control ? and where is the control list that I can use?

Any web resource or answer is appreciated !

Thank you !

- Justin

    Justin,

Unbound controls are not supported yet and there is no word when it will be available. Microsoft uses it but doesn't let us use it...

    Hi Bipin Kumar

    Thank you for you reply.

Could you please tell me the [Component Type] of [MscrmControls.AcceleratedSales.AnchorShellControl], when I open the Custom Controls list there are 7000+ controls and seems no search function.

Could I create a new pagetype=control component and set the url to it ?

And, how to implement the [work items] list ? is it a gallary control or a timeline or something?

    Thank you very much!

    Best Regards.

    - Justin

    Hi,

You will be able to see list of control by navigating to - settings->Customizations->Customiza the system->Custom controls

I don't think you can edit OOB/System controls.

Please mark my answer verified if this is helpful!
