OCR Service Integration with MSCRM 2016

Hi All,

I want to integrate OCR service with MSCRM 2016. Example i will read image then it will create Contact in CRM using OCR service. Please suggest how to do this in CRM 2016.

    I worked on a similar solution a while ago and there the OCR produces and XML file and stores in a file server. We have written a windows task scheduler job to read those files and process and create/update the necessary CRM records. Hope this will give you some guidance.

    Thank for your reply, but for above answer i need some more clarification because i am new with OCR .

    For OCR have you used any software or any service installed please suggest.

    In my scenario it was a third party print solution provider who provided the OCR capability and it has nothing to do with CRM. It just produced the XML files and our code processed those XML files and wrote to CRM.

    Hi Naveena,

    We use OCR in the application when document handover to the collector. That time collector needs to show his/her business card and we capture data into an entity.

    We use http://www.websio.com/crmscanocr.aspx product (3rd party).

    You may consult your OCR integration issue to Tenfold , it's a great phone to CRM integration and has all of the features you need and more (click to dial, call pop up, creating new lead and follow up task from pop up, handling multiple matches, etc.).
