Check batch goes negative

I have a case where I have created a check batch using Select Checks, then on the Edit screen.  I de-select one of the payables vouchers to pay.  If I re-select it, instead of increasing the check batch total, the total decreases.  Running check links resolves this, but I do not want to have to run check links each times this happens.

    Hello Liz,

This is sounding like something we would need to look into a DexSql log, sql trace or perhaps both. I would suggest creating a support case to address this as it's sounding like you would need a more indepth look for assistance than the forums are designed for.

As annoying as this is, batch counts and totals do not mean a whole lot in GP. Unless you up have them set to check hash totals there really is no use for them. A more useful value on the select checks screen would be a count of the number of checks about to be printed. Maybe that will appear in GP 2013.

Does this happen all the time or was this just a one shot deal?
