Hello dear experts

If a product is set as formula and co-products and by-products are set for it, would the MRP take these into account?

If yes, is the system generating planned batch orders for the co-products and by-products?

I have a requirement to track the scrap on planned production as part of the MRP elaboration.

I cannot find any documentation on the D365 official guide.

All seems to be related to bom calculation and when RAF the order.

I have the same question (0)

    I'm also curious on this.

I think this functionality is not present in D365. co-products functionality is not being actively developed in D365.

    Hello Alessandro, answering your questions:

    Yes, is taken into account

is the system generating planned batch orders for the co-products and by-products?

No, it would suggest a production order for the Finished good in order to acomplish the needs for co-product/by-product

If you have access to contoso data, create a SO for P0002 (Co-product) in WH 32 and run MRP process

It would plan a production order for P0001 (Finished Good)
