    Hi subashini bonkuri ,

What is that document about? Is it general journal, invoice journal, payment journal?

In posted transaction, you cannot do any editing.

You can create a manual reversal entry by setting the same exchange rate and post that entry after flipping the amount. Means; whatever was posted as Debit should be Credit this time.

Then you can create a new entry again with correct exchange rate.

Have you done the setups of rates in currency exchange rate form? System will pick rates from there.

    Best regards,
    Sourav Dam

    Hello subashini,

The best and 'cleanest' solution is to reverse the posted transaction as is, that is '1:1' and record it once again with the correct exchange rate.

Do not try to use a shortcut and just post a modification as this might make things worse especially when it comes to revaluation and payments where AX automatically calculates a FX gain/loss.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

There is another solution. You can use currency revaluation process. It will do necessary adjustments in existing transactions and you will get the required results. Below is the link from where you can read the process.
