Posting to Process Server - Batches hanging in Posting/Busy status

Hi,

We have set up Process Server for one of our clients to handle posting of their large no. of transactions. They actually use remote desktop to connect to server 1 which is a client to server 2 where the database is and where the Process Server runs.

Over the past few days, we found that on clicking Post for some batches, the status of the batch becomes 'Busy' or 'Marked' or remains 'Available' but it does not go to the Process Server queue. We have to reset the status of the batch in SY00500, restart Process Server and post the batch again.

What could be causing this behaviour? How can we prevent this from happening again?
