No QuickFilter Control option on Form Design

I am practicing creating a form in Dynamics 365 for operations (Platform update 8). I added a Listpage Form pattern which requires Action Pane, Custom Filter Group and Grid. I added the 3. The Custom Filter Group then requires CustomFilterControl. However, this option is not available when you right-click to add new control.

I am missing something ?

    Hi Yugene,

First you need to add filter group, then you can add filter into filter group.

Thanks Ievgen. I have already added the filter group but when I right-click to add quickfiltercontrol, it is not one of the options available.

So I checked my Azure hosted Demo environment which is also on platform update 8 and found out that the quickfilter control is available together with many other controls. I then checked a clients Azure hosted Dev environment which is on platform update 4 and everything is okay. I concluded that the issue is not with the platform version, rather with the Local Development environment. The Azure hosted environments are all working fine. Is there a way forward with this on Local Dev environment

    Hi Eugene,

Did you manage to resolve the issue? I had the same issue on local development environment.

    Hi MervinD.

Sorry you are facing the same issue I faced. See the answer in Jayh's response to a rephrased version of the question I posted. community.dynamics.com/.../246154

Thanks Eugene! :) Which specific referenced package did you add on your model parameter to make it work? I've added some "Form Adaptor" referenced package then build the project but no changes.

    Hi Mervin,

Unfortunately, I do not have that environment again. I have been moved fully to functional unit so I no longer do Dev. However, I recall opening one of my Azure environment to compare and then referenced most of the models it referenced. Maybe you should try that.

After adding Custom filter group, select pattern on it and then right click > New > QuickFilter. It should resolve your issue

I don't have Azure environment but I've tried to add all the available referenced packages but still same result. :(
