Submit button not submitting form that is embedded onto an external site.

HI Everybody,

My marketing form's submit button does not properly submit the form. My form is embedded onto an external site hosting it as a script. The submit button does seem to have some functionality because when I click it without all the required forms being filled out, an alert pops up saying that the field is required. However, once all the fields are filled out, the submit button becomes unresponsive and the form can't be submitted. In addition, upon clicking the submit button no error pops up saying that the submissions was unsuccesful or sucessuful and no lead was generated into my CRM.

I have tried to resolve this by
  • using a different web browser
  • clearing cookies/cache to both web browsers
  • hosted the form as an iframe
Please let me know if anybody else has run into this issue and the steps taken to resolve it. I can post the html code if needed as well.

Thank you!

    Hi,

Based on the information you provided, I did some testing.
The tests all show the form submitting properly.
Therefore, it is recommended that you check if the form's HTML has added JavaScript code that prevents the form submitting event.
If the above answer does not help, it is recommended that you raise a support ticket to the Microsoft official.
    Best Regards,
    Dengliang Li

You'd need to share a link to your form to be able to troubleshoot this properly. But worth checking you don't have any hidden fields set to required on your form, or if you do they would need to have a default value applied to them.

I have seen similar in the past.

If you are using any libraries such as a resizing script.
try moving that to the bottom of your page.
In this way your js will be complete prior to running
    the library.
