We have a very weird issue where one of our customers clients always freezes at random times. This is for the whole company.
Main Issue
Freezes at random times at all their computers we cant derive this to anything special they do.
It happens like 5 times a day
30 sec freezes always, and then the program starts workning again (doesnt respond, see picture)
what we tried
Check resources and expand theese
Check logfile when it happends, nothing logged.
Check resources on customers computers, not a problem.
Play with NAV settnings without any sucess.
Thanks in advance for the help, and ask me question if something is unclear.
Hi, I think you can try the following method.
Hope this helps.
Thanks.

Thank you will try to make contac with them. What is the easiest way? Tried to google it but i'm a bit unsure :)
Hi, NAV 2017 is still under support, I recommend submitting the issue to Microsoft to investigate with them.
So a bit of story update, we still investigate this with the customer, everything running on Azure btw.
We tried to upgrade both server performance and SQL performance, without anything better. We also trying to change "Max ConCcurrent Connections" without any improvement.
Some more tips?
We are running dynamics nav 2017 CU 39
SQL are running on azure
In the past 3 weeks we tried most of stuff, like upgrade SQL db to very heavy performance, but no change. The freezes till happening.. :/
Thanks for the answer, i've checked and not a problem with free space.
But i saw that the DTU was peeking at 100% sometimes a day, so will try to expand it.

[/quote]Are you running SQL on Azure or how is your configuration?
Hi, Would this be a problem if you were working directly on the application server?
If there is no problem on the server, I suspect it is the network, or maybe there is a problem with the firewall.
Hope this can give you some hints.
Thanks.

Hi,
Check Customization and any bulk uploading or posting may effects your application.

Have you checked the server resources especially for the SQL server?
Are there enough free space in the SQL database?
I have typically seen behavior like this when the SQL server have to expand the SQL database or log file because they are full.
