Hi Experts,

I am new to Retail POS and i am kinda interested in its feature. I read from other post that i will install Asynch Service but unfortunately i dont have Asynch in our installer, With this i would like to ask assistance on how should i configure and setup retail POS in DYnamics AX 2012 R2.

Hi Marielle Guiang,

You don't have Async Server or Client in R2, they were introduced in R3 to replace "Synch Service". So if you want to continue with R2 installation please refer to documentation technet.microsoft.com/.../hh575262.aspx

For Async components you need to go with R3.

Hi Sir Ievegen ,

Is there a sequence in installing the Retail component and Sync Service? What i mean is should i install first the Retail Components before the Sync Service?

Sync Service is a retail component. On the next screen it will check for prerequisites and it won't let you to install it if something is not ready.

There should be a log file, please check error details there.

I checked the logs and follow the resolutions. but still error on installing sync service. Kindly see below logs
