Purchase Agreements - Can't Select Item

Hi There,

I have been having issues when creating Purchase Agreements.

I am able to fill in all the details in the header view but when I go to the line view and try and select the product, I am only given the option of a couple of products, must of which are all service items. I have double checked that this supplier is approved to supply all items, but these doesn't seem to have made any different.

Does anyone have any suggests on how I could fix this.

Hi Alys,

Did you try to share a screenshot? It is not visible. Please tell which settings were done on the header.

Hi

Sorry, yes I did try and share an image, but it hasn't worked.

The purchase agreement I was trying to create was a Product quantity commitment. The only products that are appearing when I try and raise this Purchase Agreement is service items. I have been able to raise an other Purchase Agreement (Product quantity commitment) through an RFQ for some stock items but I have not been able to take this off hold and it just seems to be blocked.

Can you please check that if your items are released in that company for transaction purpose or not.

Please check and let me know so that I can check further for this issue.

Yes these items have been released into the company. I have already performed other transactions with these items

Please tell me your purchase agreement classification type.

Is it direct invoicing?

Dear Alys,

Please make a new purchase agreement classification and try it again. Don't check the direct invoicing.

Incase of direct invoicing see the below only service item.

Dear Alys,

Select this check box to require direct invoicing and to prevent someone from using release orders together with purchase agreements that use this classification.

You can use direct invoicing when you have big EPC contracts (Agreement) and you don't want to release contract to PO and you are not worried about receiving feature and qty. And in this way you can directly settle your contract (agreement) with some invoice. Through direct invoicing feature AX 2012.
